ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Diet^TM/MC canine RENAL MP^TM/MC is a highly palatable, complete, and balanced food for adult dogs with chronic renal failure. The protein content of the diet is moderately restricted and of high biologic value. Only 18% of the calories RENAL MP^TM/MC diet are derived from protein compared with 30-40% in a typical canned dog food. In addition, phosphorus is restricted, sodium is moderately restricted, and levels of B-complex vitamins are enhanced.

NUTRITION STATEMENT:
RENAL MP^TM/MC is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

	A restricted phosphorus intake is essential to slow the development of renal secondary hyperparathyroidism.
	Moderately restricted levels of high biological value protein to minimize the production of nitrogenous waste products and improve the clinical signs associated with renal failure.
	High energy density utilizing dietary fat to improve palatability and reduce feeding volumes in inappetant pets.
