ROYAL CANIN Veterinary DietTM/MC canine Diabetic HF 18TM/MC (dry) is a complete, balanced food suitable for adult dogs. The product contains high levels of dietary fiber, is free of simple sugars, and has a restricted fat content. The formulation of this diet targets a ratio of soluble to insoluble fiber of 1:4.

NUTRITION STATEMENT:
Diabetic HF 18TM/MC is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance.
  • The combination of cereals with low glycemic index (barley, corn), and the gelling action of psyllium mucilages reduces postprandial hyperglycemia.
  • A combination of soluble and insoluble fiber to moderate the post-prandial glycemic response.
  • Moderate dietary fat to reduce the risk of hyperlipidemia and pancreatitis in the diabetic patient.
  • Naturally preserved with mixed tocopherols, rosemary extract, and citric acid.
